The first time you open it
- Photos access. macOS asks whether VidFeather may use your Photos library. It needs full access to read videos, import copies and put them in albums.
- The scan. Your 4K videos appear, largest first. HDR and Dolby Vision badges fill in while you look around.
- Controlling Photos. The first time a copy is imported, macOS asks whether VidFeather may control Photos. This is only used to copy titles, captions and keywords. You can say no; everything else still works.
